yesterday when i pushed down the pedal it stayed down!!!!!
clutch cable is ok at gearbox end and from what i can see still looks attached at pedal end........can anything else be wrong with the cable to cause this???
i suspect its not the cable but the clutch/box itself. the lever arm on the gearbox (which the cable controls) will push down but not return....shouldn't it return back up???
i had a similar problem about 4.5-5 years ago when the release finger or fork??? had broken?? could this have happened again, only done about 40k since then??
is this finger/fork thing a common fault or have i been unlucky???
