They do look good in 18s so i might be tempted. Is it lowered as well, or on stock or the vw sports suspension?

Got it done at Jabbasport of Peterborough for the princely some of £475. Car was a bog standard 150bhp (AGU engine), before they did it.

It was a live rolling road 're-map' of the original ECU, & not  your usual 'piggy-back' solder on chip.

Sounds nice mate. So whats the performance now then? 0-60, top end etc? Do you not just spin the wheels all the time?
I bought mine second hand, and am not sure whether it's been chipped or not. It had a "Stealth Racing" sticker on the back and it seemed quicker than other 1.8t's I'd driven. I'm considering getting mine done/ having it checked.

Stealth are a tuner from Warwick, IIRC. Your car isn't dark green , is it?

Mine pulls like a train, now..... In all gears, & far as you dare! It's taken it from a yawn inducing 0-60 of 8.5 secs, to around the 6.5-6.6 mark. :evil:  (I managed to (ever so slightly) pull away from my mates 210 bhp Honda CTR). :cool:

Only, problem with spinning, is in 1st & 2nd gear when it's wet. As long as use about 90% throttle in that situation, then it's fine. :smiley:

Yeah I phoned Stealth just after I bought the car.

My car is dark blue, 5 doors.

As mentioned on other threads, It's been suffering with a faulty air intake pipe to the turbo which has robbed all the power, so to be honest I've forgotten how much pull it has! It really seemed to have more than other standard 1.8t's I've driven. I'm taking it to awesomegti in Irlam to get the air intake sorted so I'll get them to check it over.

Yr car sounds nice Ivor - would you consider more power or do you think It'd be a waste? I'm just wondering in light of the fact that there are other fwd cars out there (leon cupra r, s3) with 225bhp+....
