Floor Mats

I know the GTI already comes with carpet floor mats but i want to buy a set of rubber mats to throw over them to keep them nice and protected. VW list front rubber mats for MK V Golf, will these fit the GTI or is the pedal arrangment or anything different?

Rubber mats will fit perfectly. You'll need to remove the carpet ones in order to use the floor clips though. The pedals are only different in the aluminum covers. Layout is exactly the same.

where can i get a quality set of mats that are tailored to fit my 92 gti with the steering wheel on the right side of the car? all i can find are ones made for cars that have it on the left.

..........try the dealers but they might be discontuined now.Failing that try ebay.  :wink:
