New Toys

Hey people,

Both me and the wife ar both happy campers.

I collected my new Mk 2 16v yesterday, completely and utterly standard 91 on a J, Helios Blue big bumper 89 K miles, just had the top end completely rebuilt by a VW dealer using all OE parts after the cam belt snapped, body work in pretty good shape, no dents just a few minor spots of surface rust. Years MOT, all for the bargain price of...................£650!!!!!!!!!!

I gave the wife the money for our Audi that I sold yesterday and She got a Corrado 1.8 16v, also a 91 on a J, Mars red, totally mint with 102k, just had £700 spent on a full and i mean full service, Karmann interior, beautifully kept and again completely and utterly standard.

This means that in a couple of weeks I will be selling my old 8v project car. Details to follow on that but she will be going cheap as I will need the garage back.

8v is a Mk2 Golf not a Corrado. I think the wife would notice if I pinched the interior, no matter how good a home it went to!

To say we are pleased is an understatement :smug: It was a case of being in the right place at the right time, I would say it's a case of having more jam than Hartleys

As for the Blue, I agree, probably one of the nicest subtle colours, but the wifes 'Raddo does look the business in red, especially as it hasn't faded, As soon as i get time I will post some pics.

Hope you get yours sorted Neaty

Do you go to No Rice at all, we will be going soon as Fleet is only up the road from us?
