Got me a 16v lump today :evil: lump/box drive shafts, air box, alt, coil, starter, ECU and rad.  Not paid for it yet :grin:

Loads more needed as in loom, fuel system, exhaust manifold, 5 speed gear linkage (can i use my 4 speed?) etc

time and money needed as i use it to drive every day :shocked:

anyone got any thing i need, to help a dubba out?? worth a try :wink:

wanna do loads as in drop, wheels paint etc... list goes on :rolleyes:

i can't say i've seen this colour much :undecided: its quite funky and it looks in pretty good nick so i'd probably go with that myself  :smiley:

WOW - Mk1 4 doors - wicked.... have to say a 4 door mk1 lowered with right wheels and chrome will looks amazing... will be intersting to watch this car build... and also Tuckers car too...

welshgar i would leave it that colour mate i kinda like it, plus it adds to that olds skool look with it being a non gti colour, it just adds that sense of nastagia to it to!

Keep it the same colour and respray to that if need be as a respray to another colour is only good if you're going the whole hog, i.e. engine bay, door shuts, pillars etc IMO. Tucker and welshgar, both cool looking mk1s though.  :cool:

cheers ppl, you've all persuaded me to keep it this colour (probably with respray...the pics make it look much nicer than it is!!)

muchos chrome (but not OTT) and probably a set of ATS cups (i love em) dropped approx 60mm
chrome door handles, flag mirrors, thin chrome side strip, small chrome bumpers (oww £Â£Ã‚£Ã‚£  :shocked:)

ohh, and probably a roof rack (if i can find one... :smiley:) and a chrome fuel cap  :smiley: from dubunit (cheers dude  :smiley:)

and that blasted wiper motor, if i can get my @rse to a scrappys

i'll start saving now for a respray  :smiley: anyone know roughly how much whole car would be???

Respray price I reckon will be anywhere between 1k - 2.5k depending on who does it and what they need to do with it regards to prep work etc.  :undecided:

^^^aye, to keep cost down try and do as much of the prep work as you can, all the fillering and sanding down etc!
