I used a hammer and chisel as well
The old style sensor has a metal body, which rusts to the hub. The new sensors all have plastic bodies so shouldn't have the same problem in the future

stupid bloody design flaws. I always get them sort of jobs when it's -20 outside aswell. there's nothing like a good whack on the knuckles with a bit of cold heavy metal.
