Rear big bumper
« on: 19 November 2003, 13:59 »
One of my pished up @rsehole mates decided to bounce up and down on my rear big bumper  >:(.  There is now a slight gap between the top of the bumper and the rear of the car on the nearside.  ie the bumper is very slight squint.  Will I have to remove the bumper to straighten it up?  If I do have to, is this an easy job and how do I do it?   ???

Cheers

is the bumper just mishaped, or did he manage to break one of the lugs on the brackets at the side?

If the lugs arent broken you will prob get away with it if it isnt to bent. under the car to the left and right of the fuel tank are two pairs of bolts, they are sort of recessed and are 17mm (i Think!) undo all four and then you can withdraw the bumper. if it is factory fitted there will also be some screws along the bottom of the palstic these will need removing to (im not 100% about this bit tho!)
