« on: 19 February 2006, 18:55 »
hi, heres some (and i mean some as my battery didnt last long in me camera)
a mint caddy that was in performance vw a few months ago, was spotless.

this is a mint v5 turbo rallye, the car is stunning, the paint was like glass,if only the interior wasnt PINK!

and this clipper was cool, those are subs n speakers in the rear, and thats when my battery gave up,sorry, was a good day, even better if you were after camper or beetle bits, but i managed to get a few thing for the golf,so im happy,,

Rallye hasn't really changed much in the years i have been seeing it. Been resprayed a few times, and new wheels and that erm interesting interior.

That poxy orange mk1 was there again looking the same as it did 4 years ago.

Quite a nice few cars there :)

That orange mk1 looks.. unfinished.. though, where the subs are. Dunno, it just looks like they've been thrown in the back to me.

But im only seeing a close up, it may look alright when its in context.

The mk1 usually has a metal plate over the top of the speakers which goes right over the top to the back of the seats. Imo it was never really good when it was done 4 years ago and now it is just stale. Different folks and all that.

lol so the show lived up to it's name again!

can't be too harsh on janet the rallye owner, it has changed a massive amount over the years, plus what are you supposed to do after spending all that money on a show car? hide it away? :)
