Devon VAG Owners Club
« on: 18 February 2006, 21:05 »
Sorry, if this is not allowed please feel free to delete the post.

I am starting a VAG owners club in Devon...doesn't seem to be one at the moment!!

At the moment it is just a forum, but if we get enough keen members I would like to set up meets, track days, rolling road days as well as discounts for club members.

http://swvagoc.forumer.com

It would be nice to see some Devon based VAG owners over there, but as I say, we are new, so add us to your favorates and keep checking back.

Thanks,

Ed

Well I'm from Somerset, so not too far away, but tbh there's not a lot going on the forum atm to entice me?  :undecided: Maybe when there are more members etc. Nut, looks like I've got all I need for a VAG forum right here, and JV might not like to advertise 'competition' forums...?

But good luck to ya bud, I'll keep you bookmarked.

hey bazzer, i joined the forum last night. it needs people to join the forum in order to build up numbers???!!! but i dont think its being 'unfaithful' to this forum. it just means the yocals can get together more frequently. go on bazzer, sign up mate. you know you want to!!!

Thanks for the replies.

I'm not into stealing members from other forums, so I hope JV doesn't think thats the case, I'm just trying to get some locals together more often, because obviously with the national clubs meets etc may be too far from home to go every time.

I hope JV appreciates that I'm not trying to pinch his members...just get some like minded people together in the same area.

Oh, and Dan7 is right, we need people to join to get the community going, the link is going to be going to 5-10 of my mates who all drive VAG cars, but aren't part of a club, so we should have more members soon, so why not join and check the site every now and again.

Cheers,

Ed
