induction kits???

Hi ya ppl, av been away in spain, just got bak!! freezing here, was 25c lol, anyways lol, i have a mk2 16valve with the air box drilled and a K+N panel filter, but in a golf mag i saw they did an actual induction Kit for it, does anyone know how it works because you have all the fuel lines etc ontop of the airbox!! Would a Induction kit sound any better?? Thanks for ya Help!!!

waste of time and money. Stick with the panel and drilled airbox.

Why are you bothered about how it sounds? Granted a sexy sounding engine is awesome.... but shouldnt the main question be how it actually performs?


If you want sound stick to dump valves and exhausts bigger than your hubcaps.

lol, ok ill get a baked bean can to put over my exhaust,and one of those really cool fake dump valves too,  :laugh:i was just wondering if it sounded different,being in a different place etc,and i didint ask about performance because i didnt think an airfilter does much for performance does it??  :shocked: anyways thnks for ya help ppl!!!  :grin:

hi,i asked the same question abit ago.was told , drilled airbox n high flow filter is all you need to get a better sound and performance from your car,induction kits arnt worth the dolla mate. :smiley:

i went a bit mad with my drill when drilling the airbox on the valver its like a siv, have a K&N in there also like most, does the job and i love the sound!!  :cool:
