MK4 radio casset replacement / GTI mats / Fog lights .......

Hi all.
I have just bought a 2001 mk4 golf gti in black, and i want to change the radio/casset to a newer one. It has a 6 disk changer, so would like to keep that too really for the new one. How do you get it out, and will any new head unit fit, or does it need to be specialised.
Also does anyone know where to get some nice gti mats?
One last thing, i have a bulb in my headlights which dont seem to do anything, i thought it might be fogs, but the fog turn switch seems to be locked out. How hard is it to fit fogs and release the switch?

You need a set of pins to insert either side of the stereo to pull the unit out. I notice that screwfix sell them now or you can probably get them from your local dealer.

I bought a nice set of genuine VAG mats from GSF, only about £20 and pick up on the studs in the carpet.

To switch on your fog lights, pull the headlight switch towards you.

Thanks for that mate, i will try the lights later. Will i be able to link up my disk changer to a new head unit?
