Guys i sold my Gti mk4 over a week ago. Im looking on ebay and auto trader and nothing is taking my fancy! They are all going for obscene prices and have really high mileage. Got a budget of between £5500-£8000

hpw far are you preparing to travel though mate?? if its not far then you will struggle to find something close by

I have just bought a GT TDi 130, 2004 (53 Reg) with 17k on the clock, nothing wrong with it had it HPI checked.  Guess for how much?

  @ Rhyso - Nah, not been as lucky as you think - I got it for under 11k but I thought that was good, cause been looking for a black tdi 130 for ages with low milage and this was the cheapest i seen for months.

Im picking the car up on Sunday - no fancy options just the bog standard GT TDi trim 

I see you got a TDi 130 as well - what spec u got?  Have you done any mods to it, if so what? Im interested to know.

it came with a Single CD player above the HU
and the upgraded 16inch alloys

gonna pop to the stealers to find out what the codes mean cos I'm not enitrely sure whats standard and what isn't.

So in regards to modding I've not really had the chance!! 

First thing i think will be to get the VW Phatnoise system so i can play all my cd's in the car - check out www.phatnoise.com for more details.  they are on egay for £185 rather than paying the £600 the stealership want!! 

then save up a bit of cash and maybe get a remap.....not sure yet!!
