Looking for a garage London ?

Hi 

Can anyone recommend a decent garage in London thats reasonable in price ... I have a few bits on my golf need doing like the window regulators clips, boot light problem (mentioned in thread below) and would be nice to get cruise control on it ... so if anyone knows of a good garage I could go to please let me know.

Or if theres an enthusiast on here who fancys doing it I would be happy to pay you for you time.  ... I would give it a go myself but a little useless and all thumbs with stuff like this  :embarassed:

Gave them a call today and they quoted me £300 to fit cruise control but he said he was unsure if it would work on a golf 1.6 2001 

called another place they quoted me £200 same day service for cruise control.

When I got the car it came with a guarentee which is a company you call and they find you an aproved garage near to you. What I was thinking of was calling it tommorow to tell them about the window regulartor that it is making a crunching sound and about to go and try and get them to pay the cost of fixing it ?? not sure if they will buy this ... going to try and say it is about to break and before the window goes crashing down can it be sorted out before that. I've got 4  months left on the guarentee so worth a shot. If not just have to pull the money out of my backside

...hmmm wonder if the guarentee will pay for the boot light ... Confirmed it at a dealer that it is the latch.

what a wind up ... Just goes to show how much I love my car ... its valentines tommorow so got her a bunch of flowers and chocolates  cos am romantic like that.
