let down by motor depot

im gutted,
Ordered my 06 5dr shadow blue about 10 days ago.Got a call from Matt at motor depot yesterday and he said,all orders placed since the back end of jan could not be garanteed delivery.Could take upto 6 months now i dont know if he's just trying to put me off (coz i did get a good deal)
or if this really is the case.If any of you guys fancy giving them a call on my behalf,and just make a general enquiry with regards to what will be availabe on 06 gti's.
Also who else offer the same type of deals.....tried motor provider and they where having a laugh the part ex they offered me.
So it's back to square 1

Probably trying to put you off because I have ordered a manual GTI from VW Wolsey Ipswich - placed the order in mid-Jan and expected delivery date is mid-April.  They have a very small allocation and I suspect that Motor Depot may be having trouble sourcing enough so yours goes to the back of the pile becuase it is making them less money - or something like that.  Its sounds like this is what is happenning.
