Not 2 sure about Mk2 seats but i know corrodo 1's fit  :cool:

MK2 Golf/Corrado/MK3 Polo ones will fit, but wont slide forward/back because the handle is on the wrong side!  It can be swapped over without too much hassle though, bit of chopping and welding.

Earlier Polos I'm not sure about, the rails will be the same but am unsure on which side the handles will be :)

Can anyone confirm that the rear bench from a corrado will fit in a 5 door Mk1?

It will fit a mk2 with a little messing about, but on a MK1 its gonna be alot nore tricky I think.  When I tried to fit some to our cabby the backrests were far too high for one thing, and the base wouldn't fit very well at all, due to the rado/mk2 having a hollow under the rear seats which is flat in a MK1.

Its tricky to explain!
