Buy or Hire, any idea??

Hi all,

Have been toying with getting an R32 or GTI Mk5.  Really really would like the R32 but not convinced my finances would cope.   

Was going to PCP it but then I though about hiring it?  That way I could get one for a year/18mths and if it was crippling me hand it back.

Has anyone any experience of Private Contract Hire and any good/bad companies??

it depends what you want if you do contract hire its dead money and the car will never be yours plus it will probably cost about £400 a month for the contract

Unless your gonna do the hire thing direct from manufacturer, doesnt seem worth it to me.

yo, i used to work for a main dealer, an trust me, all hire contracts are bollox, id go with a pcp if you cant afford outright finance, although a 60 month hire purchase is also a good thing, keep the payments down and you also have the halves and thirds as layed out in the consumer credit act
