r32 stlye dash surround
« on: 08 February 2006, 21:32 »
What does everyone think of this on ebay?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VOLKSWAGEN-GOLF-99-UP-STYLING-DASH-TRIM-KIT-R-VWG-7A-BA_W0QQitemZ8036412509QQcategoryZ72213QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Does ne1 think that theres so much it might look too tacky? They are selling similar 5 piece only kits for alot more.

Im gonna get the cheaper version most probs (even tho at mo im carless! looking for a nice TDI) just wondering if ne1 has bought this or installed something like this on their Dash.

the cheaper ones are just stickers, which can look a bit gash especially if you fit them even slightly wrong.

the more expensive ones are the real deal trim replacements, i have them in mine but got the ashtray cover and door pulls etc aswell so that everything matched.

Yeah seen that site before some really cool stuff well priced. But other thing are mega expensive. The R32 gear knob is 60odd quid on there, I was down a dealers last week looking through the catalogue and the same r32 gear was £37 so like i say some good some bad. But u can get some awesome interior styling on the mk4's.

I have to agree the stickers will make your car look cheap as you can always tell you have stickers over the original trim.

Save and buy the real deal and i'm sure you'll feel better :)

Yeah i was thinking bout the stickers and how they would look cheap. Think Ill save. There are some funky Golf Ball door pins on there, shows a pic installed ,I think it looks cool so id go for that.

it sounds naff but you probably wouldnt be able to tell if you didnt know!

if you drive with your window open in the summer...BEWARE... if you dangle a posing arm out they are likely to snap. :embarassed:
