Hi, no, i dident do it myself. im not that good but i helped alitle to my friend mechanic. his name is ian and he came here from the UK. you british guys are good! ian is a pro mechanic and a king in fabrication. the best thing is he did it in 4 days net!
alot came on the way of the swap but nothing too hard. the electrical system was a pain (i used the ECU and harness from the MK4) but other then that, it was fine.
I tryed to poen a post in the swap forum here to explane it all but couldent. any idea whay?

Nice work.  A bit of a street sleeper. I bet it surprises a few people at the lights !

Where on the forum could'nt you open a thread ? In the projects section ? If so then you can only post in there if you speak to the boss (jv) who will start a thread for you in that section that only you can update and post in. If you want to do something like that then answer this thread and we can sort something out for you.

You can't use PMs (private messages) yet as you've not done 10 posts so e-mail jv@golfgti.co.uk and I'm sure he'll sort you out with something. Any problems just reply to this thread.
