Pipeline Card
« on: 29 January 2006, 15:00 »
First off, I know this has been posted in the Chat - VW section, but not everyone goes there, and topics move so fast, it's easy to miss. Also this is by far the busiest model specific board, and we all know that MK2 owners are the nicest!

C'mon guys, sign up for this, it's free and looks well worth it. Strength in numbers and all that!

I can second that!  Been signed up for a while now and looking forward to the card being up and running pretty soon....the more members the better - and it's free!

Anything that makes the old girl's diet of super unleaded cheaper can't be bad

I thought it might be junk but thought it wont harm either way. Its not like they wanted bank details.

Nah, I don't think that this is a hoax, you can normally tell. Unless I'm wrong of course?

I don't think this is a hoax either.....it has had good press coverage and I heard about it through Evo magazine.  I've not had any junk e-mails either......hope I won't be eating those words but I don't think so

FBF, what have you seen in the small print that makes you suspicious exactly?

FBF, are you sure you wasn't pissed when you looked at the site?! :) I've just double checked every page and can't see anything of the sort. Also as it's been mentioned, this has been in the Guardian, on BBC Radio 2, etc, etc.

I really think this is the real deal, and unless we support it, there will never be enough bargaining power to make a difference.

Again I could be wrong, but I'm willing (and already have) to sign up, the risks (if any) seem negligible.

Just don't blame me if I'm wrong!

if you're worried about SPAM just sign up for a new email account and use that address when you register. Keeps your main email address free if it does indeed spam you  :nerd:
