Does anybody have a VW part no. for this, or can I get one from a normal motor factors???

Need to clean the throttle body out, would normally use the same gasket but it'd be sods law that it splits

you should be able to get one from ECP or GSF.

Cheers mate, but we haven't got either nearby, and I know that GSF certainly have a flat postage charge of about £8

I'll see how much VW charge, surely can't be much for a gasket!

Aye they aint that bad for prices on parts. For example, i recently bought a new GTI grill badge from the dealers and it was £6.38 plus VAT.  I have seen them on ebay regulaly going for over a tenner plus the sellers way over the top postage charges :shocked:es

Its always worth trying the dealers first. Quite a few times ive heard of dealer prices only being a few £ over the GSF price for certain bits. Well worth the extra few quid for the genuine part plus you get a nice VAG recept to put with the service history
