how do i remove the front carpets, is it all one piece?

undo that big allen bolt and pull out all the plugs then remove.

how does it come out from around the centre console?

under the gas (how american) pedal there's a huge allen bolt. other than that there's several plugs holding it down. you have to remove the plastic strips that run down the door and pull out the center console. there's a screw either side of the center console connecting to the shelf on the left and fuse box cover part on the right. and 1 more screw under the gear stick gaiter. then it pulls out. oh, and unplug the fag lighter plug too. I can't think of anything I've missed. there's 2 more catches under the rubber that seals the door. just pull a small section off and unhook it.

Take out the seats and the centre consul, then remove your sill covers and the fore mentioned big allen key accelerator pedal stop and plastic piece and you should be able to see all the little securing clips. its fairly straight forward a slong as you clear the way first.
