Im so jealous of people who live in hot countries who have nice clean cars that stay that way! Over here we clean our car in the freezing cold and the next day its covered in crap again, its so demoralising!
not exactly true. we still have rainy season which is a lot more messy than in Europe since the weather is more polluted. fresh rain can put all the dirt from the street on your cars. believe me cars don't stay cleanÂÂÂ

can't say which one is my favorite. mk3 vr6 is my daily driver (except now having broken head gasket). mk1 needs more effort and since it's not a GTi so it's not powerful. mk2 is of course between the two and with KR engine, the character is different from VR. I love all my cars..
oh..forgot to mention my other project, '77 mk1 scirocco.
this is this year project after i got all my mk2 problems solved. this one came with RV engine but wrong 4 speed transmission. my plan is to put a 16V (i have a spare PL engine at home) with 2Y transmission into it with digifant injection from RV. what do you guys think? it should be fun but probably painful since i have to study hard about these 2 engines. no mechanics here are familiar with these engines. mk2s are so rare here. they really started marketing VW with mk3.
