I would have thought that prices in the region of ?150 - ?200 (depending where you go) would be pretty reasonable. Curiously, a clutch for a 1.6 is more expensive than for a 1.8 - dunno why! The difference is marginal however.

That's true, but not everyone has the time or expertise to do that sort of job. I was coming from the garage price angle as posed in the original question.
To be fair, I'd do it at home!

unfortuantly i dont have the time or experaince to do it as im working today and saturday and need the car to get me to my hockey game saturady night, so 120 all fitted plus my front suspension changed is a good deal???

suspension and clutch changed for 120 big ones? Thats good as i was quoted ?200 fitted for the clutch alone.

had clutch, front tie rod replaced(i bought the part), suspension fitted(front) and both hubs(off my old car) changed due to worn bearings all for 140 quid!!!!
how good is that??
