CRASHED MY MK2 BECAUSE OF A sh!tTY CORSA

i am distressed, recently bought an immaculate golf mk2 1272 cc, GTI SPEC, wid the bumpers and interior, 17inch kahn replica rims lowered all round by 40mm on koni shocks and springs.... but the thing that tops it was the mielage just below 60k for her age........ 1988, 18 years old!!!!! she was beautiful, im driving her home, then sum dickhed corsa pulls out in front of me..... i swerved 2 avoid her and i smashed up the left side of my car, the drivers side wing inner and outer is f**ked, bonnet is f**ked, the front/slam panel is gone, the left headlamp is gone....... i dont want 2 get rid of her,,,,, i need advice on what 2 do?

what would u dubbas out there do???

i picked her up for 400 quid, shall i get her repaired??? if i can get the wing in black and the bonnet?  to save money from gettin it all sprayed??

not good, i would check out as many scrappies as possible and see what you can pick up.

you could even end up enjoying it even more when you've put all those hours into fixing it! oh and try to get every penny from the other drivers insurance!

similar thing happened to me

was merrily driving along in my fairly recently purchased valver then some f*ck witt in a mark 1 clio pulled out of a blind junction, she didnt just pull out she didnt stop  or look at all. She pulled out right in front of me and had literally no braking time...........then crash!

I have decided to fix it up, havnt started doing it yet like. It has been declared as a total loss and was written off!

^^^^ forgot to mention the bird that pulled out was over the limit and was arrested on the spot for frink driving and driving with out due care and attention!

if i can pick up some small bumpers at dubfreeze then i will let you know about buying my big bumpers off me. They are tornado red so would require painting, but will be a hell of a lot cheaper than buying new items.

can you not claim off her for dangerous driving

i would get it fixed if you can and even if you dont wanna claim make her pay towards it
as the other guys said its not gonna be that expensive to fix and it will be worth it

what did you hit??? i take it you didnt hit the corsa???

one rule, if anyone pulls out infront of you, you just have to brake hard and hit them (or hopefully if you have good brakes not hit them lol), because at the end of the day, if you swerve to miss them, and go on the other side of the road and hit another car, the accident could become your fault, i knows its your pride and joy and everything but at least you wouldnt loose any money or no claims.. i would only swerve if i know i could make it safely without indangering anyone else.
