Oil pressure switch.........
« on: 21 January 2006, 09:43 »
Oil warning light flickers on as I'm coming to a stop. Have been through all the threads on here and I'm going to change the 0.3 bar switch (brown one) - but where is it? Haynes suggests it is on the cylinder head but other forums have said it is one of the two on top of the oil cooler. If it is which one is it - front or back?

Cheers

Mk2 16v (1991) by the way.

both pressure sensors are on the oil filter on a 16v.  It will be the brown one with a blue wire going to it.

On an 8v this sensor is on the side of the head :)
