TIP ABOUT MOBILE PHONES

If you do not make international calls, I would recommend you get them BARRED on your phone.  I woke up this morning to a bill of ?690.  Basically, I lost my phone a couple of Friday nights ago and Oranges computer systems were down so they couldnt block until Sunday evening.  Some absolute F*cking w@nker, who apparently has LOTS OF FRIENDS IN FOREIGN COUNTRIES decided to give them all a call resulting in this huge bill.  Apparently I am liable for ?250 of it (calls made from 2am til I first phoned Orange at 10am).  Seriously, get international calls barred.  Dont let it happen to you.

yup yup, been there done that, i had a similar experience, my phone was stolen and some guy called loads of premium rate lines with the same effect, only 440ish though. So now all international/premium rate calls are impossible from my phone.
Good tip though.
