Use the secret MFA function to get the car at a good idle.
Mine idles at around 998rpm.
For the secret function....
Start the car and hold the MFA button in,
whilst holding it in, turn the car off and restart it again.
This is the hidden MFA function someone posted a while ago.
Now select function 2 and there is a REV counter function that displays the revs.
Use this as a guide for keeping your car idle.

Worked on mine. The digi rev matched with the revs on the MOT bay computer.

yea it is ture but you dont need to start the car just turn the ignition on! (Saves valuble seconds and you dont look like a fool turning your engine on and off!)
