Importing a G60

I am thinking about importing a G60 that my mate in Germany has. Does anyone have any idea what all would be involved with making it legal in the UK? Anyone here done this before?  ???

There's a company called Supergolfs (I think) that I've seen ads for in The Golf mag.  They import golfs from Germany.  May be of some help.

Yo have to pay import charges, change the log book over to UK spec, adjust the front lights and a few more little things but heres the web site for SuperGolfs....

once you've got it all sussed let me know wats involved?? I really wanna import a g60 and there's loads on www.autotrader.com   :)

I was looking around on www.mobile.de lot's to be had for a reasonable price. One of my mates is stationed over in Germany and has a Black 1991 5 door G60 he has offered me up for a very decent price as he is leaving back to the U.S. in about a year. I may take him up on it and go over this summer and drive back. I'll keep everyone posted.. though. :)
