f**king wildlife!
« on: 11 November 2003, 15:26 »
So driving home last night from kiddy I came round this corner near some woodlands to see a deer on the otherside of the road. then, as I drove pass it the bloody thing though it was a good idea to try and run back into the woods thus running straight into my door  >:(
Now I have to open the passenger's door to open mine from the inside  :(

the pictures say the rest.

Just got back from the bodyshop. Got it booked in for the 8th of December for my '90 spec doors to be sprayed and fitted finally. Got a good excuse to raid my savings now :D

thats a bit of a f*cker mate, but glad it gives you the excuse to fit those new doors!!!

Your interior looks Sweeeeeeet.

Just out of interest, what are you gonna be charged for your new doors to be sprayed and fitted?

The same happened to me a few years back when i had my valver. Bloody deer run straight in front of me when i was doing 50. No chance to brake or avoid it. I was impressed with the cars build quality though, the deer was huge and it just bounced off the car. New headlight, grille and wing needed, ouch! but the bumper had no damage at all.

That sucks mate. I drive through alot of wooded areas late at night and am always afraid it will happen eventually. I hit a small dear 2 years ago and messed up the under side of the car I had then. not fun. Hopefully all goes well. :)

I've just had the card off and pushed it out as best I can with my foot. at least I can wind the window down and open it from the outside now.

I've got it booked in for the later style doors to be sprayed up now golfgal. thanks for the tip though. :)
