i still use fairy. But i must admit that the last time i used propper car shampoo i was very impressed with the result from a simple wash. Maybe thats why they call it car shampo?

as for pollish and other products i would recoment that stuff in the white bottles with black label. Sorry name has completely escaped me. Autoglym i think.

i used to use auto glym, but someone in the trade recomended Meguires, and I find it so much better, they sell that shampoo conditioner stuff, but they also sell all the detailing wax, and all the gizmos to apply it with. I was impressed by their nxt range of polish. I use it on my mk1 Cab

Yeah ive heard that meguires is better too, i just couldent remember its name either. Apparently its something to do with the water used in making it. Apparently autoglym factories moved country or something and the water just isnt as good there. Meguires it is then!

i still use fairy.

You might wanna think twice about using it again, washing up liquid contains salt and will really dull your paint down if used continually over time.

I clean mine by washing it with warm water and a sponge to get all the rubbish off it and then leather it off with a good leather, then do a good polish like Autoglym or Meguirs (some will use other makes, but it's all similar to me). It depends what you want and how much time you want to spend washing and polishing etc. I've never actually used the Shampoo to clean it in the first instance so I might give it a try when the weather gets better.
......now officially dubless.

Iv got all the meguires stuf and it works great, tend not to bother cleanin it myself too much through the winter as its covered in crap in a few days. Got a lazer wash place up the road where they hand shampoo it then put it through the lazers. Its quality so theyv had my custom since iv been here.

thats the best mk3 ive seen..ever! its just clean and subtle..
