tickover at 2000

can any one help, some times it ticks over normell, overs it will tickover at 2000 all time, whats the problem? how can i solve it?

my car was doing this intermittently until i had it serviced... I had cam belt / tensioner + all other belts changed at same time.

might have something to do with it?  it runs like a dream now.


btw.. what mk are u talkin about?
