I have to correct a 0-60 time

MG ZR = 8.6secs
Golf GTI 16v = 8.7

So they claim the ZR is FASTER!!!

HAHAHAHA

They'll say its quicker than the Astra GSI next... in fact

check this

Astra GSI 16v = 8.3secs to 60? summet like that 150Bhp
ZR 160 = 7.5secs approx

HAHAHAHA chuckle ..

Like I said in the first place then 'quicker to the scrap heap'
why are we even discussing this?
since when was MG a byword for build quality?

I brought it up cos of a discussion at work....

I needed to just re-assure myself that the ol' 8v still had Poise, audasity, credability and respect

*I liked those words, I'll use em more often*  8)

I heard that if you take a new MG upto 85mph on a straight, empty road late at night it will start to shake. A light vibration at first, then a more violent lateral motion. As it hits 88mph exactly you will here a deffening bang and be blinded by an intense flash...

The car will leave just 2 flamming tyre tracks up the road...

You will find the rest of the car scattered accross a 2 mile streach of hedge row!
