nowt really Han; not for a dieseal anyway; less than 20K a year too

If its definately got FVWSH and has all the correct stamps, miles etc then I'd say yes it is a bargain!!!  Make sure it's had the cambelt changed too; if not use that to bargain

thats not too bad price from a dealer really
70k for a diesel is just running it in lol
probably be looking around 4800-5000 private
for that price you could probably get a 115bhp private

all depends on the condition of both cars.  the 70K may look very tatty in places and therefore need a few bucks thrown at it whereas the 90K one might be mint

is it exactly the same specification on both?? take a closer look just to be sure. and scrutinise the service history - make sure there are no gaps and that the cambelt has been done accordingly.  depending on the engine code the belt needs changing either every 40, 60 or 80K miles  :nerd:

i'd say its a bargain too, but i'd make sure the cambelt was done, my gt tdi 130 had cambelt done at 60k not sure if thats correct time but it also has full vw history, so they must have thought it needed doing.

cambelt all depends on your engine code so my local VW garage told me (looking for a diesel myself )

40, 60 and 80K are the intervals for cambelts but he didn't tell me what codes relate to which intervals
