When my family lived in OZ when I was a kid - my dad was working on a new house and put a pump action screw drivers into his leg and it went out the other side of his leg - he had to drive himself to the nearest hospital (30 miles away) and get them to take it out - he has the best scare I've ever seen on his leg.

I still think the pump action screw drivers are wicked...  he still has that screw driver as well.... (sick)

When I was working on the black cab in Nov - I cut my chest to the bone - with working inside the engine bay area - F*cking hurt as hell - blood everywhere - cool.... NOT... I'll be the first to say I passed out after a few minutes... gave my brother a shock when he found me on the floor in the garage.... - have a lovely scare now right in middle of my chest...

Sweet! We have matching scars..

You will all be pleased to know that i have just dislocated my finger. went to get out of my chair, caught it inbetween the chair and the table and twisted. Pop!! out if came, i think the neighbours might have just heard me swear.

Feels dead funny popping it back in though, makes you wince a tiny bit too........ well ok lots of gritted teeth swearing

to be fair i wasn't paying that much attention, more clasping my hand, and trying not to fall on the floor crying like a little girl whilst i yanked it out and put it back in its socket again.  :embarassed:

A couple of years ago, a friend was doing some DIY in his loft, and managed to drill right through his hand, through a load of tendons.

A while ago I managed to smash a chunky of flesh off the side of my thumb with a hammer.
But I've still never managed to break a bone.

Why do injuries sound so cool, unless you're the one getting hurt? And even then, once you're over the pain, it's cool to tell people about it.
