Not sure, mate.  My local hasn't had it for over a week, so had to go to garage no. 2!

I heard rumours that Shell were replacing it with something else, so perhaps they're running their stocks out??? :undecided:

Optimax at full flow in my local Shell. They have rebranded normal undleaded as 'low suplhur' and made the nozzle a light blue colour.

personally, I just go for the cheapest muck at Tesco and Sainsburys. Recent Buncefield highlighted the fact all standard unleaded comes from the same place. I say this as I have a mad relative who swears that her car runs roughly on TEsco supermarket unleaded as it 'isn't as good' - insane woman.... I shop at Waitrose don't you know......

I have'nt had any optimax in my local station for about 3 weeks now.

Shell are saying its due to the incident at the Hemel Hempstead Oil Terminal and that they are in the process of reorganising the current distribution of fuels for sites in the South of England.

So i have been using tesco 99ron for now but not happy about it

Haven't seen any Optimax from Bath to Portsmouth, although I haven't been looking all that hard, just noticed it out in a lot of places. Just having to go to BP or Esso for fuel now
