Wud an audi tt engine fit easily into my car n how much do us reckon it wud cost?I assume everything(brakes,intercooler,exhaust system)wud have to be ungraded?!

Dinky,You ought to start with a brake upgrade first, if you are going to be upping the engine. Just had mine done,and its fantastic now, just needs me to squeeze a more powerful engine under the bonnet now. ;D

hey dinky get the upgrade on the brakes like adam said, then go for the 1.8t conversion, performance vw forum off the links page is a great help for engine sales etc, theres been a few 1.8t lumps on there at around ?800 all in

For 6000 quid I could pick up a really nice G60. I have thought of doing the TT conversion complete with gearbox and all into my mkII but I think I'll leave it as a 16v. For that kind of cash you could build a 2 liter 16v that would hand a 5v turbo it's lunch. :)
