Just read this months Max Power(i know b4 us start!)n there is a nice looking cabby n guess where its from? Near where i am-n/castle!!Can u believe that i've never saw it b4?!!!

Its had a vr6 conversion n now i've got to think of something else to do with mine!-the t-w-a-t!

I thought about doing a VR6 on mine, but was advised against it. the engine is too heavy and it screws up the ride and handling. I'm going for a G60 next year instead.

Just posted a one in the garage about an audi tt,what do u reckon?What bhp difference do u get with a g60?i don't really know much about them!

The engine is a 1.8 litre with a supercharger. Power is about 160 bhp. The 0-60 time was around 8 seconds, and top speed is about 135 mph, This would obviously be different on a cab.
The G60 engines are really easy to tune, if you change the pulley on the supercharger for a 68mm one, and the ECU chip with an RS-Chip, you can easily get 190-200 bhp, and lots of torque, There are even some around pushing out over 240bhp!!!!
It all come down to cost at the end of the day.
They are relatively cheap to tune - and you could have yourself some serious VR6 eating cab

id go for the 1.8t conversion dinky, not havin a go but g60 is old style mod, the way to go is 1.8t either standard 150bhp lump swap which you can get chipped/remapped to 212 bhp, or dump the tt/s3 lump at 225 in then have a fiddle with that!, if it were me and i had a cab and the dosh thats what id do, you watch ill get Adam givin me hell now! hey g60 great motor but 1.8t up to date!
