Is there any one out there with a mk2 vr6 as my brother is getting one next week and i wanted to know if there was much of a performace differance over a standard mk3 vr6 the engine thats in the car hes going to get is stander ed as-well.

they had a review of this in the Golf + mag a couple of months back, the standard vr6 in a mk2 absolutely anihalated the mk3, due to its power/weight ratio, i have been thinking of doing a vr6 conversion eventually, just for the noise of them!!!

Yea i know what you mean my brother used to have a mk 3 vr6 when he put an induction kit on it sounded
evil
. He then sold out and became a rice boy for a while buying a late shape celica gt4 god it was quick but it sounded so gay even with a filter and big back box. So i kept on at him to get another dub, hes been looking for a while but couldn't sell the celica then some chav dude messed him around for a week but hes now got the cash and has seen a nice sleeper vr6 mk2 hes going to have a butchers at the weekend.......

Yea i know what you mean i just cant get that kind of cash together. The beauty of my brother getting one is that i can have a go in it and then give it him back when i break it lol I'm not jealous the little s**t

Ah yea cheers mate there in really good condition just got one very small scuff on one of em. Ive been neglecting them the past couple of weeks they need a really good polish just like the rest of my car Ive just been to busy.
