a bill for probally around £100

last nite some dodgy black guy knocked on the house at about 10pm said he was being chased by police and could we give him a lift home, we did what we thought was right and said no! 20 mins later weheard a bang but didnt think nowt of it until this morning, somebody maybe him has booted the mirror off and smashed the cast alloy bracket and now i cant even temperarily get it back on, best of it weve just spent our last £300 getting the cvar to stop cutting out and run right, also the m.o.t is due jan 2nd

has anybody got a spare mk3 complete mirror???

If it makes you feel any better, you're not alone.

I have just sold my house in leafy Surrey.  Why?   Coz I had no drive and got fed up with drunken scum vandalising my car.   Now I don't live in a nasty road by any means - in fact it's f**king expensive.   But these mindless nob heads love to damage what they can't have.   In 2.5 years I've had 2 mirrors kicked off and a thumping great big foot print dent in the rear wing.   Makes me mad.

New house is in a Cul de Sac with a driveway.   Here's hoping it's better...

You could try a scrappy for the replacement - then get some yellow paint to spray it up.

high mate know how you feel had mine done on boxing night bought new one on e bay £25 and a pair s/hand for £30
give them a go. put mine back on today happy agian now need to keep the spares just in case the n/head's do it again.
