i know what you mean about the unreliability of ford turbos and as for the mpg.. :shocked:

still, my fiesta flew when it was working  :evil:

Looks alright mate, tidy for a home brewed conversion, wouldn't want to try and work on it though!!

^yeah is a bit of a nightmare to work on. I tend to have too take it back to the bloke who did it and have spent hours wandering round scrappies trying to find a pipe to fit when the one to the intercooler split!

why dont you get some silicone ones cut to size? i know they can be pricey but its something you could do a bit at a time  :wink:

that is part of my long term plan, wanna get the whole engine bay blinged up a bit with new hoses and loads of chrome  :cool: . Trouble is every time i wanna make a start on it something more important breaks! :cry: My clutch has just started slipping badly so thats the next thing. dunno whether to go for an uprated one?

i know what you mean about stuff always going wrong when your planning on doing something else to it   :angry:
but i thats what we've all come to expect when modifying cars

if its still got a standard 8v clutch then i would def get an uprated one because of the extra power being produced by that turbo  :evil:

yaeh standard at the moment. I am on a major budget though, i dont think uprated clutches are much more to buy than a decent standard one though so will prob go uprated.
