Hey, I had a real shock today when the garage that is repairing my Mk4 GTTDI 1999 rang.It seems that it requires a new head, because the camshaft had broken and the final bill will be £2000 or thereabouts.
Has anyone else had this problem. I only had the belt and tensioner changed 20000 miles ago.
Wouls a recon engine be cheaper. All opinions will be welcomed and appreciated.
