my new mk3 16v
« on: 20 December 2005, 17:24 »
as many of you know ive sold the 8v
ive now got myself a bog standard  mk3 16v on a preg with esr, ew, em ,air con ,near full history ,new brakes all round, new exhaust, only thing is its metalic burgundy, but it only cost me £1370,ive stripped the bodykit off it today and found some rust on the front drivers wing ,getting new wing tomorrow, once ive sorted the wing out its going in on the 23rd january to have a full respray in metalic black,i must admit im nervous ,the bloke who is doing it has resprayed nathans mk2 which was in performance vw magazine oct 2004,so should be ok and he is only charging me £800 thats everything exept under bonnet ,which i will do myself when its warmer,i will put some pictures on when i can.

ive just swaped my gti bumpers today at a local vw scrapyard for some smooth bumpers which only cost me £15 and as luck would have it they had a mint vented wing for £30,so well happy,
