My First Golf - Driver (1.6)
« on: 20 December 2005, 00:35 »
My first VW, a 1.6 Driver (Insurance in NI is a total nightmare for a GTi of any shape if your under 25!), picking her up next thursday/friday.

Note the "sports tow bar!"

Needs a bit of work to sort her out, but mechanicially sound, as is the bodywork is nearly 95% fine. She shall be going in for a total respray in the base black and some sublte bodywork in the summertime. Mostly smooth boot, and Audi handles, something like this I played around with on Dubmodder, especially the two tone widened steelies.

Theres only one rule for this car, everythings comming off ebay, doing her as cheap as possible parts wise etc and then saving for the respray, by Augest she will be a totally fresh looking mk2!!

Just a few mods and you will be away.

Thought I would give it a quick photo chop

Looks good, but not the wheels in the 'chop' IMO. Keep it clean, simple and lower than a snakes ar5ehole!!

got to loose the mirrors asap but otherwise that looks smart. Your dub modder pic is spot on, and listen to lewy when he says to lower it lots, it'l look class rubbin on its belly!

thats the best mk3 ive seen..ever! its just clean and subtle..

I only had my dinner at work.  It took 5 mins to edit the car pics.  Wheels were nicked off an impreza so not my choice!!
Did not have time to lower it!! It takes too long 15 mins plus, and I only have an hour dinner.  Only did it to give a future prospective to the young golf nut!
I agree loose the mirrors!!

Shamless plug but my PhotoChopped up golf is in "chat nonesense".  Apparently people dont like the colour, but has anyone tried to use photoshop and teach themselves???   It is such a bloody hard programme!!
