Does anyone have any good images showing the front and back of the above engine.

Hi there
I am trying to work out if the block on my 1.8 8v has been changed. I have seen images of 1.8 block with big "1.8" clearly marked on it. These marks are not on mine and I just wondered if anyone has images of a 2.0 8v block so i can compare?

I think the '1.8' is stamped on the back somewhere so not too easy to make out.  But an easy way to tell, have a look just to the left of the oil filter housing, if there is a breather pipe or a blanking plate there then its a 2.0 :)

Hi there

Had a wee look just now. There is a blanking plate right beside the oil filter housing, immediately to the left of it.
A 2.0 litre then? :smiley:
