Supercharge or Turbocharge a GTi 16V

Hi,

did a search in the forum, can´t found anything clear.

The information i got is that you can bore to 1.9 or something like that, can do a 2.0 conversion by swapping the crank.
Well i think this is good mod´s but it´s not what i am really looking after.

I am after info so i can know what i really need to change (internals) if needed to supercharge or turbo.
Yeah i know the 16V as 10.0 CR but it is really necessary to change pistons? how much psi can a stock engine handle?

If i need to change pistons, do i need to change anything more? rods? cranks?

i think the G60 block it´s the same has the 16V, but with some changes has SOHC head w/ 8V and 8.0 CR am i right?
are there anymore differents?

are the G60 pistons good? are they forged? do they match in the GTI 16v?

anyone who has made such mod´s can help me with this cause? can provide useful information?

Contact AWT in lincolnshire , they will do you a 16v supercharger conversion
