The famous caddy!
« on: 06 November 2003, 07:42 »
Hello everyone, since im new to the forum, ill might just start off by saying what a great place to share experience about vw.

But my question is, does anyone know much about caddy's ? I really need to know since my first project is a volkswagen caddy.

I need to know, what color it was originally painted from vw factory, styling sites, wheel types etc. Hope someone can help me or give me a site to caddy pictures/gallery. This would be great.
cheers. :D

hey, thanks for replying and giving me that site, helped me a lot.

i havent started my project yet, i need to move back to norway, cos im in australia now, so the project will start in may-june 2004, but i really want to make everything ready for the project, rims etc, styling where to find caddy styling.
but basiclly i will, rims, new paint, lower it,good ice install, and make it a good car all around.
Do u have the possibility to take some pictures of your project car and the procjet it self? would be nice.. cheers.

The cady wasn't really popular for modifying in the UK from what I have seen. You may have better luck searching for aftermarket bits from the USA. Over there they were called a rabbit pick-up. I can remember seeing them all over the place there.

Rich is right, there were two at the action rallies this summer - a yellow one and an aqua blue one. They looked really tidy, and the guys had done a lot of work to them. there might be a couple of pics in the links on the main page
I don't own this anymore - I just can't be arsed to change the picture

I'll try and do some more for you soon. I need to do some spring cleaning on my website as I have run out of webspace so I'll find them and repost them all.
