Greetings Guys and Gals.
This is my first post, so please be gentle with me.
Always been a VW fan. My first car was a bright red Belgian Beetle 1303 (1974) and I had it for many, many years attending the Scottish VW at Doune (near Stirling) for about 4 years in a row and was an active member of the then Forth Valley VW Club which met every month.
My second car was a Polo which I had for a year before the gearbox went. Up until that tragic moment it was a great car. I then toyed with F*** (shudders) and Vaux**** but once again have found my destiny and realised my dream by buying a Golf GTi (1.8l, 8v). It was looked after by an enthusiast for many years and has been modified and yet neglected by a b*y r*c*r. Work done already and much more to do when I have time.
Have to say it's a very good site which I shall frequent every day. Initially I will not post a lot as I've got a lot to catch up on and will be mainly reading the previous posts. I am a moderator/admin on an unofficial football website and appreciate what work goes into the site - keep up the excellent work you guys/gals do. Trust me, it does go un-noticed!
