Digital Clocks?
« on: 12 December 2005, 12:53 »
I was reading my manual for the first time since i bought my golf (didnt know it was hidden in a dash compartment....) it showed a thing about digital clocks, how hard is it to find this, and will it just plug in, it looks so '80s futuristic, I want it soo much!

They are extremely rare/expensive, only come in kph and are a b!tch to fit apparently. Not straight forward!

The digital dash is called a 'digifiz' dash. They come up occasionally on ebay but go for silly money (£hundreds). If you can find one on german ebay you are likely to get it for a better price. However grafting one in is quite a nightmare due to all the sensors required, you would definately need one complete with the loom. Also I think they are only available in kph not mph.

You got any pics of your dad's split ?
