My first VW (and post...)

Couple of quick questions, have just bought my first VW, it's only a little Ryder, but it's got the twin headlamps and is in immaculate condition.

Was wondering if anyone could help me clarify what style of bumper i actually have, i've seen that the style changed post '89, but my bumper doesn't look that big, and haven't been able to find any side by side comparison sites to check it against.

i've submitted a pic to the gallery but until a mod approves it i won't be able to show people it so that they can hopefully confirm either way what type of indicators i'll need to get. I was going to go for crystal/clear ones, keep all the front lights the same colour.

Another question I have, is the mk2 GTi grille, is it possible to get one without a GTI badge? i don't want to pretend my car's somethign it's (blatantly) not (althouh i have taken the ryder badge off...) but would really quite like that red edge to the grille.

If its ever been changed in any way then it could be either, but originally it's a small bumper (only GTi's and GL's are big bumpered...)

If your unsure, the ones on my golf in my sig are small bumpers.

I might have a grille with red surround and no badge up for sale...? The same one as in some of my sig pics.
