Euro-styling, What does it mean?
« on: 07 December 2005, 21:03 »
There are quite a few peeps over here, on the cruise scene who have suggested I follow the euro style ideas if i decide to modify my car, as it has a subtlety(sp?) about it.  Trouble is, i have no idea what they are talking about, and they don't seem to be able to explain too well.

So guys/gals..

What ideas does euro styling follow, pics would probably help.

small wheels, decked, debadged, smoothed etc its a load of bollox categorising looks, do it because you think it looks good, not because your following a trend

Thing is i'd never heard of it before. From what i'd been told, the idea appealed to me as if i do any mods, i dont want them to be to outrageous.  The golf has a great, which should be kept as is imho.  I would like to have something a bit different to everyone else, but am looking for ideas of what can and can't be done.

Whats with the small wheels thing, is there any benefit to that?

euro style is really just smooth, no crap, good solid paint, sweet wide wheels, and frickin low. the small wheel thing is more that they allow your car to be lower easier. mk2's were designed for14/15" wheels and handle better on them, no other benefit than that
